Video Poker Strategy
  PCO Strategy

In all the strategies that we present, the key is not to win more hands but to position yourself so that you’re winning hands are bigger then you’re loosing hands. This requires the player to do two things in order to come out ahead. One is to make the right decision on each hand in order to maximize their chances of winning. Second is to use a betting strategy that puts more money on the table for the winning hands.

The strategy card below will show you exactly how to play any hand possible when playing video poker games. It will also allow you to maximize your wins and minimize your losses. Its always a good idea to play online video poker at an internet casino before heading down to a land base casino.

Betting To Win

Using the strategy card below will tell you how to play any hand you are dealt. Managing your betting will ensure longer playing times and more opportunities for large wins.

This strategy you would start with $200 in chips of the same value (5 cents, 25 cents, 50 cents or $1 etc….)

You start by betting one chip only. This strategy requires that you never play more then one chip from the original 200 chips. If you win,
you play your winnings plus one additional chip from the original 200 chips you started with. For example, if you win 1 chip then you would bet two chips, if you win three chips then you would bet four chips, if you win four or more chips then you would bet five chips which would be your maximum bet.

After every wining hand you would bet the number of chips you won plus one more. Of course, if you win five chips or more, there is no need to bet an extra chip since five is the maximum you can bet on every hand. As soon as you can no longer bet five chips from your winnings you revert back to betting less then maximum chips.

To sum up, play multiple chips only if you can do so by betting back chips you have won.

Once you are ahead by $100 or more, you should cash out your original stake. Leave the game with your winnings and try you luck at a
later time.
